seriously very good book. if i could give more stars i would. it is an older book but still full of very detailed information on the discovery, effects, uses, history, chemistry and biology of certain substances. i personally bought this as a reference book so i had a rough idea what certain things were capable of and where they came from. one section shows different drugs tested on spiders by injecting flies with a substance, and the results are quite surprising.
so i seriously recommend this book to anyone who is curious, who may partake themselves or just would generally like to know or to build an understanding of what they already know on the subjects covered in this book. very informative!
